Sleeping Bear

Hi!

It's Anja here. Today I was inspired by violet. It's not one of my favourite colors, but I wanted to use something vibrant and Distress Oxide Wilted Violet seemed a perfect choice. I made a baby card with a cute bear sleeping in a basket.

I used:
- Cottage Cutz dies (Sweet Spring Kitty, Bear On Cloud and Moon, Cute Phrase),
- Distress Oxides (Wilted Violet, Worn Lipstick, Peeled Paint, Vintage Photo),
- white card base (15x15 cm),
- watercolor paper (14x14 cm),
- colored and white paper for die cuts,
- little white enamel dots,
- Versafine Onyx Black ink,
- alphabet stamps,
- paper glue.

First I made the background. I tapped the ink on my non-stick craft sheet and sprayed it with water. Then I just put the water colored paper on top and rotated it around. I dried it whit my heat gun.

I die cut all the paper pieces from colored and white paper. I colored the edges with Distress Oxides.

I put some dimension to my flowers and leaves.

And then I just glued all the pieces together. I decorated the flowers with little enamel dots and stamped the rest of the sentiment.

And this is my finished card.

See you next Sunday when I will be here again using new wedding and nested dies. You can get a sneak peak at all the beautiful new dies in Janet's video below. The new dies are already in the store.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a fun Sunday.

CottageCutz Sweet Spring Kitty

Can you believe Mother's Day is just around the corner.  Hello CottageCutz Lovers and welcome.  It's Carol today.  This is a card I created with these sweet CottageCutz dies.  Have you noticed lately how burlap is all the rage,   I have to admit that I just love it.  I used a piece of hot pink burlap on this creation and rolled some roses with it too.
This is was so fun to make.  I used Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers, Mowed Lawn, and Mustard Seed distress ink to color my basket and flowers.  Love using distress inks.  The more I get ink on my fingers the better I like it....lol   Thank you so much for stopping by to see what I have been up too.  I appreciated your visit and wish you a day filled with the best creative endeavors!  Here are the dies I used.

Sweet Spring Kitty

Hello everyone, today I wanted to share another card I made using the Darling CottageCutz Sweet Spring Kitty die, along with the CottageCutz Expressions "Love" Die.

I sooooo LOVE this sweet little kitty, its sooo SWEET!!! She is laying in a basket of of flowers that were colored using copics. I added some viva pearl pen dots to the centers of the flowers. All pieces were colored with the copic markers. I got to use this new design paper called Hello Sunshine, its one of the new lines from Pink Paislee. I also used some Really Reasonable Ribbon,Flower, and some pearls to complete my card today.

CottageCutz Dies I used! Also linked to the Scrapping Cottage Store for easy finding.

Thank you for looking and have a wonderful day!
hugs to all,
