Easter Wishes!

Good Morning Friends!

It is Pam creating with you on the blog today!

The weather here in South Carolina has been just beautiful! Not to hot and not to cold! I love to walk in this kind of weather.  The only bad part is the biting bugs are starting to appear.  And the mosquitoes love me! They even get me through my clothes! Oh well on to the card for today.  I have a bunch more Easter cards to make so let's get started on this one.  I used a couple of dies from the new Spring Release.

Design Steps:
 1.  Use an A2 purple card base, cut a piece of white card stock 3 x 5 1/4, use the Fancy Floral Lace Border die and cut it out of white card stock
 2.  Glue the border to the white piece of card stock as shown above
 3.  Glue the white card stock with the border die to the purple card front
 4.  Use purple card stock and cut out the Easter wishes using the Bunny Kisses & Easter Wishes die
 5.  Use the Peeking Egg Bunny die and cut out all of the pieces several times using green, purple, blue, pink, yellow and gray card stock
 6.  Shade the different pieces and color the nose and eyes black using a maker.  Then start to assemble all the pieces
 7.  Pop dot the bunny to the left side of the card and glue the Easter Wishes to the right side of the card as shown above.  I decided to add some small black rhinestones to the eyes for some dimension

Ladybug Love!

Good Morning Scrapping Cottage Friends!

It is Pam on the blog this morning.  I am continuing to make my Valentine Cards and having so much fun with the new Valentine and St. Patrick's Day release dies.  They are still on sale for 25% off so don't miss your opportunity to check out this cuter then cute release!   Today I am using the Lovebug Bee & Ladybug die with the traditional Valentine's colors.

Design Steps:
 1.  I used the Ladybug die and cut it out three times in red, black and pink
 2.  I did a little shading on the red and pink then assembled the Ladybug.  I also made the other bug a little Manbug using the black shell and red under layer plus I used the bow for a bow tie!  You can see it below
 3.  Use an A2 white card base, cut a piece of red slightly smaller then the base and then a piece of black polka dot DP slightly smaller then the red.  Also cut a 1 1/4 x 4 inch red polka dot band.  Then using the Fancy Floral Lace Border cut out to lacy strips and then cut them down to 4 inches long
 4.  Glue the Lace border to the top and bottom of the red polka dot strip
 5.  Using the Pierced Rectangle die third from the largest cut out a white rectangle
6.  Wrap your ribbon around the rectangle and tie a square knot.  Pop up you two bugs just about the ribbon.  Stamp your sentiment just below the ribbon

7.  Pop the rectangle panel to the center of the card and add some small red hearts

- patterned paper: 3.74 x 5" (9,5 x 12,7 cm)
- Distress inks: Tattered Rose, Picket Raspberry, Blueprint Sketch, Mowed Lawn, Peeled Paint, Spiced Marmalade, Rusty Hinge

Stamp flowers on watercolor paper. After coloring, cut out flowers with matching die.

If we do not have appropriate colored cardstock, use Distress inks and color white cardstock.

Cut out paper strip with stitched rectangle die. Fix the die on the edge of cardstock, and cut out one line with stitches. Then move the die, and cut it out again.

From white cardstock cut out two lace border. Shadow them gently with Distress ink - Tattered Rose.

Stamp and emboss sentiment with white powder. Attach lace.

Cut out two ovals from kraft cardstock and patterned paper.

Trim patterned paper and card base.

Add the dragonfly and the card is completed.

With circle die cut out a hole in a patterned paper. Fasten patterned paper to a green cardstock, and put them together on a white card front.

Stamp and color flowers. Cut them out with the matching die. Attach flowers in a circle. Use self-adhesive foam pads. Stamp "Hello" on a strip, and attach it to the background with eyelet.

In the color of lavender

Hi, Janja here!

Stunning scent of Mediterranean bush is expanding far and wide. Tiny flowers with its violet blue color catches the eye. Lavender is fully blooming.
I tried to catch some of its color and romance on a birthday card.
Let's see how it is made.

For the card we need:
- white card base: 5.3 x 5.3" (13,5 x 13,5 cm)
- patterned paper: two sheets in size of - 5.24 x 5.24" (13,3 x 13,3 cm) and four sheets in size of - 5 x 5" (12,7 x 12,7 cm)
- white and violet cardstock
- ribbon

We prepare two cutouts from a white cardstock with the die oval doily & frame. Also cut out two oval holes in a patterned paper with the die in which we will later insert white ovals.

From a white cardstock cut out birds with the die bird trio and 4 lace borders with the die fancy floral lace border.
For more contrast cut birds also from violet cardstock and the basic of two flowers. The upper part of the flowers and leaves is cut out from a white cardstock with the dies: doodle flowers set 1 , doodle flowers set 2, and leaves & stems.

Glue patterned papers with double-sided adhesive tape between themselves and insert white ovals in oval holes. On a card base we attach a ribbon.

Assemble the card.

Look on a spread card with a space for greetings and an inscription happy birthday.

Exterior of a card.

I would like to remind you on our challenge #4 - greenery
You still have time to share your projects with us.

I hope you have been inspired by my card today.
