CottageCutz Mini's

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with a Couple of CottageCutz Mini's.
So I wanted to make some super fast and easy cards, these are mini's, I also used the DARLING CottageCutz Mini Butterfly and Mini Ladybug on my 2 cards for today.
CottageCutz Dies:
Springtime Tea(for the lacy tag on pink card)

I normally add sewing to my cards, and layers, Of course I LOVE lots of layers and sewing, but I guess if you wanted to make some super small and FAST cards to give last minute these would be fine.
I do love the shape and how small they are, and of course these DARLING CottageCutz Mini makes the cards just tooo cute!!!

The measurements on these 2 cards is
5 3/4 x 2 1/4
dp is 5 1/2 x 2

Ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon

CottageCutz Die's and Links below:

Ladybugs were cut using brown card stock and then pink . No distressing on these. The were super easy to put together using foam squares.

On my CottageCutz Mini Butterflies below I distressed them and then added some Viva Pearl Pen.

Thank you for looking and Have a LOVELY Day!!!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

♥♥♥NEW Tea Time Lace Envelope's & Video's♥♥♥

Hello everyone, Cheryl here to share the SUPER SWEET new Tea Time Release CottageCutz "Lace Envelope". Omgosh I LOVE this DARLING new die and you will too!!!

So for my 1st CottageCutz Lace Envelope I'm showing it as a invite, or a little note holder. I airbrushed it and added some flowers and ribbon to decorate it up. I left the front blank.
My next one is a Gift Card Holder, I thought this would be perfect for giving Gift Cards for the holidays and Birthdays, and so on :)

Now in the picture below, i used the 2 leaves on the side of the flap, next to my rose to tuck under and hold it closed, this can open and close :)

I didnt decorate the folded piece, but thought it would also be nice in a mini album with pictures and writing.

I just had to use the DARLING Lady Bug on my Gift Card holder. they are super sweet. I added Viva Pearl Pen and they look like pearls, but this was super fast and easy to do :)

Cottage Cutz Lady Bug Gift Box

Greetings friends and bloggers.  Today I wanted to share with you this gift box I made for Cottage Cutz Die Cuts from The Scrapping Cottage.  I used the Ladybug and the Daisy Doily Dies.
This Ladybug is awesome.  So cute and so easy to put together.  All I did was cut the body with black card stock and the wings with red card stock.  I put some foam dimensional adhesive on the back of the wings and mounted it on the body.    My daisies are made with a punch and the centers are Martha Stewart Flocking.

Here you can see a close up of these pretty Ladybugs which are "Good Luck" by the way! The Daisy doily was used as the base for this flower and bug arrangement.  I cut it down approximately 3/4 of the way and applied it to the top of the box.

Here's the corner Ladybug at the bottom right of the box.

Surprise!!!!  Now here is what is inside the box.  I bet you weren't expecting these little sweeties in here were you.  How could I resist not making something so cute with this die.

They are paper clips.  All you have to do is assemble the Ladybug like I described above then cut one extra black body.  sandwich your paper clip between the Ladybug and the body piece and glue together-so easy and so cute.

I die cut a little leaf to place behine the Ladybug to make it look like the Ladybug was crawling on a leaf.  Here are the dies from Cottage Cutz that I used in this project.  Your can find them here:

Thank you so much for stopping by to see my project today.  I am so in love with this ladybug die that you will probably see it throughout the summer in my projects.  I love it!!!

Play on words

Please forgive my lack of projects this week. On top of having two of my grandgirls here this week, I've been super sick and sleeping more than scrapping I'm afraid. I expect to be back on track next week though! :)

I love play on words and the ladybug and watermelon is perfect for a quick thank you card, don't you think! I used the grass clump from the mushrooms for to "ground" the ladybug.

Summer is so much fun

I'm loving these adorable summer shapes. Do you have yours yet? Well, if you can't decide, maybe this will help. I've used a bunch of them on this page and I will not apologize! LOL

Starting with the title, I've used the popsicle for the "i" and the mini cooking pot from an earlier release for the "p". Other food shapes make up the remainder of the title letters.

Along the bottom of the page, for a picnic themed border, I've used the soda bottle, picnic ant which is carrying the watermelon from the ladybug die, and the ladybug which seems to have absconded with the chicken drumstick from the larger ant!

Ok, who can resist this adorable little penguin from the last release....not me! And who says penguins are only for snowy, cold, or wintery layouts?! Don't be silly! Here I've used the penguin on a summer page and it fits perfectly with the beachy theme, don't you think. :)

This little guy, er, excuse me gal, is enjoying a day at the beach in her ruffled bikini.

In addition to this new penguin shape from the Scrapping Cottage collaboration with Peachy Keen stamps, I've used the message in a bottle die. The bottle is cut from vellum, the cork is cut from cork paper, and the sand is actual sandpaper! I've added stickles for some sparkle in the sand. It is a sunny day, after all.
