Tree as symbol of growing and learning

Hi all! Vladka here with you again!

Today I would like to show you, what I made for my very good friend. She lives in America now and she is a teacher to three years old kids. This is why she needed something to hang on the class door. And I came up with idea to create a tree, because for me it is symbol of growing, learning... So I made this one first. Tree´s ladder is created so, that it looks like inches. There is a lot of animals on the top of the tree and under it: butterflies, little bear and the bigger one, lion, bird, hedgehogs and owl. I added also leafs, grass, mushrooms, nest and birdhouse.

I made also another one with months on it. She will add children´s names on it. So they will  all  know when children have their birthdays. Both trees are cut out with scissors and all pieces are colored with Distress Ink. It is really cute, although it is pretty big.

My list of all used dies is today really long, but I really had fun to play with all this cute dies.

CottageCutz Baby Girl Pocket Card

Greetings everyone and welcome to another CottageCutz Creations.   It's Carol here today with a pocket card from the beautiful Baby release over at The Scrapping Cottage.  Aren't the dies just darling!
The Fancy Dress die is featured on the front of the card envelope.  Isn't this so sweet.  I cut the dress on pink cardstock and distress with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink, mounted the dress on the Tea Time Doily.  The Baby die from the Expressions release was used for the sentiment on this pretty card.
This card was created with a glassine bag.  In the inside pocket is this sweet tag made with the Fancy Mary Jane Shoes Die.  It doesn't get more "Baby Girl" than that!
It was so fun to create this.  I love rolling roses with burlap.  I think they are just so sweet.  Thanks for stopping by today to view my post.  I appreciate it very much.  Until next time, Happy Crafting and see you soon!  Here are the dies used:

Birthday Party Bear

 Hi! Vladka here!
This card was created for my dear Friend. She likes this motive and she really knows how to work with crochet hook and knitting needle. I bought her book how to knit cute little bears and so, the new  Birthday Party Bear die was perfect to made card out of it.
I also used Fancy Bassinet die to put bear in the basket. Everything is colored with Distress Inks. I did also some stamping on the background and card was finished. Sentiment is in Slovenian language and it´s meaning is: "Friendship isn't a big thing - it's a million little things."
I wish you all great day!

Floral Tea Time

Hello everyone, and Happy Saturday to all!! Today I'm sharing my Floral Tea Time card I made for The Scrapping Cottage & Really Reasonable Ribbon.

On my card for today I used the Sweet CottageCutz "Teacup & Flowers" Die, cut it out in white, and then colored it with Copic markers. Next I added some of the Viva Pearl Pen for dots on the bottom and top of the cup.

The Flowers, Moss Green Leave Trim, Polka Dot Satin Ribbon, and Seam binding are all from Really Reasonable Ribbon and can be found here. I used Glory Blue Seam Binding for behind my bow. My bow is Swiss Dots Lemon, and the leaves trim is Moss Green Leaves. Next I used the Sweetheart Blossoms flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and glued them onto the trim.

The stamped Ticket is from Unity stamps, and the Design Paper is from American Crafts.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you all have a super wonderful weekend!
hugs to all,

Fancy Dress on the Tree

Hi all! Vladke here!
My work place is located between houses and often when I look through the window,
I see T-shirts hanging on the branches of a tree at one house. This is the way how they dry laundry. It is really amusing, because you do not see T-shirts with hangers, growing on the tree every day  :)
And this was actually my inspirations for today´s card. I hanged cute little dress on the branch, but first I cut it out with Fancy Dress die. For branch and bird I used  Whimsy Bird and Cage die. I colored all pieces with Distress Inks and used white and kraft card stock. Words are cut out wit two dies: Girl and Baby.
I wish you all great September!
